FAQs

• Can I change my club’s facility allocations?

  Allocations for facilities are decided in April/ May. All the clubs are contacted with provisional bookings and asked to respond with any issues by a deadline. If your club did not indicate any issues prior to the deadline, it is unlikely that any changes can be introduced.

  If you have a question about facility allocations, please contact the AU President. If your club has a performance programme please speak to Ian Gaunt

• I want to enter my team in a competition, how do I do this?

  If you want to enter your team in a BUCS competition, please visit the ‘Competitions’ section of the portal and refer to the information there.

  If you want to enter your team in a non-BUCS competition, please get in touch with the AU President to see if the competition can be covered by your entries budget. You may also be signposted to the Sports Administration Manager to discuss entry requirements.

• A member of my committee cannot access the shared email account, what do I do?

  If you need to grant access to an individual for the email account, please contact IT Services with the username of the individual who needs access, and the details of the club account.

  Please cc the AU President, Duncan Caithness and Fergus Knight into the email for approval.

• My club is having a discipline issue with a member, what do I do?

  If you are having an issue with a club member, please contact the AU President who will help you with the issue or signpost you to another section of the University that can provide assistance.

• A member of my committee cannot access the Teams site, what do I do?

  If a member of your committee needs access to your individual club Team account, or the AU Sports Clubs team, the Club President should be able to add them. Information about adding members to a Teams account can be found in the Club Communications document. If you are still struggling, please contact the AU President.

• My club wants to buy knew kit or leisurewear, where can we do this?

  All clubs are required to observe the Saints Sport branding and kit policy. Full details of how to purchase kit and the rules clubs must observe can be found in the marketing section.

• My club has had a problem with an AU vehicle, who should I speak to?

  Any issues with vehicles should be reported to the Administration Office as soon as they occur. Make sure you check vehicles for damage or issues before leaving University Park.

• I want to discuss my club’s development, who should I speak to?

  Please contact the AU President or Duncan Caithness (dac9@).
